Gua Sha 

Gua sha is a practice that involves  scraping the skin's surface with a gua sha  smooth-edged tool to stimulate blood circulation, release tension, and promote overall wellbeing

Lomi Lomi 

Lomi lomi is a traditional Hawaiian massage that uses a combination of massage techniques, nut oils, to restore energy and soothe the body.

It is also known as the 'loving hands' massage. This name helps to explain its principles - the massage works gently yet deeply into the muscles with continuous, flowing strokes, allowing the recipient to relax.

'Lomi lomi' translates to 'rub rub' in Hawaiian, and reflects the broad, flowing strokes made with the therapist's fingers, thumbs, palms, arms and elbows.

Based in part on the principles of acupressure, it is a modern take on meridian theory, which goes back thousands of years in Japan and China.

TSUBO = acupressure point – this is a place along a meridian where the energy can be most easily influenced, affecting the body on many levels (see Benefits).

KI = the energy that flows through the meridians.
